04/25 Premiere The White Rose
The premiere of the Dresden University of Music's production took place on April 12. The performance featured "The White Rose" in the original 1967 version by Udo Zimmermann. Alexander Rampp sang the role of Professor Kurt Huber.
It was a moving and impressive performance of this work, which was being staged for the first time since 1967. The audience was enthusiastic about the highly moving performance.

25/03 Upcoming performances of "The White Rose"
Performances of this year's production at the Dresden University of Music begin on April 12. Udo Zimmermann's opera "The White Rose" will be performed in its first version. Alexander Rampp sings the role of Professor Huber in this moving work.

03/25 Masterclass with final concert
From March 7th to 9th, Alexander Rampp participated in a master class with Juliane Banse. The course was organized by the Richard Wagner Association Munich. Many thanks! The course concluded on March 9th with a concert in which the singers presented their newly completed pieces. Alexander Rampp sang "Vi ravviso" from Bellini's opera La Sonnambula and the Landgrave's speech "Gar viel und schön wart hier" from Richard Wagner's Tannhäuser.


02/25 Michael Haydn Requiem
On February 23, the Vokalensemble Icking, conducted by Peter Marino, performed works by Michael and Joseph Haydn. Alexander Rampp sang the bass solos in Michael Haydn's Requiem. The concert was completely sold out.


02/25 The White Rose
In the coming summer semester I will be taking part in the university production at the Dresden University of Music. The performance will be of The White Rose (version: 1967) by Udo Zimmermann. I will be singing the role of Prof. Huber.

10/24 Scholarship Concert Deutschlandstipendium
On October 24, the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship holders' concert took place in the Great Hall of the Dresden University of Music. Alexander Rampp sang works by Georg Friedrich Händel and Albert Lortzing. At a reception afterwards, the sponsors and musicians came into personal contact.


10/24 Start of the third year of study
The third year of study has begun. In addition to well-known courses, it brings some new impulses, including the subjects Interpretation Oratorio/Concert and Lied Duo.


08/24 Bayreuth Festival
As part of the Richard Wagner scholarship, Alexander Rampp was able to experience three performances at the Bayreuth Festival in August. He saw Tannhäuser, Siegfried and Parisfal. The days were complemented by a comprehensive scholarship program. It was a special experience to get to know the festival hall and experience these three operas.


07/24 End of the second year of study
The second year of study is over and I would like to thank everyone who has supported me along the way. In particular, my main subject teacher, KS Prof. Matthias Henneberg.


07/24 Conclusion of the opera Dante - From Inferno To Paradise
After six extremely successful performances, the opera Dante - From Inferno to Paradise was performed for the last time at the Theater Hof on July 12th. The first opera by the Hollywood composer Patrick Cassidy was enthusiastically celebrated with standing ovations by the audience each time. It was also the last directing work of the outgoing artistic director Reinhardt Friese and the last performances of the conductor Ivo Hentschel at the Theater Hof. Great recognition goes to everyone involved. Also a big thank you for the wonderful opportunity to take part in this production.


07/24 Opernpodium
As part of the opera scene study program at the Dresden University of Music, an opera podium takes place every semester. At the end of the academic year, Alexander Rampp presented the opening duets and the aria "Se vuol ballare" from the opera Le nozze di Figaro by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.


06/24 Module examination of the second year of study
For the module examination of the second year of study, Alexander Rampp sang the songs "O wüsst ich doch den Weg zurück" by Johannes Brahms and "Reiselied" by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy as well as the arias "Sorge infausta" from the opera Orlando by Georg Friedrich Händel and "Fünftausend Taler" from the opera Der Wildschütz by Albert Lortzing. In the module examination, the progress of the students is tested annually under performance conditions.


06/24 Premiere at Theater Hof
Premiere fever with standing ovations at the Theater Hof. Alexander Rampp played the role of the Angel of Chastity in the opera Dante - From Inferno To Paradise, composed by Patrick Cassidy. The Irish composer Patrick Cassidy created one of the most beautiful and impressive pieces of music in film history with the piece "Vide Cor Meum" for the psychological thriller "Hannibal". Ivo Hentschel was at the conductor's desk. The opera represents the last directorial work of the artistic director Reinhardt Friese.


06/24 Scholarship Concert of the Richard Wagner Association Munich
On June 2nd, Alexander Rampp performed as part of the Richard Wagner Association Munich scholarship concert in the Künstlerhaus am Lenbachplatz, Munich. He sang a duet for bass and baritone from Joseph Haydn's opera List und Liebe as well as the duet "Il core vi dono" from Mozart's opera Cosi fan tutte. As a soloist, he presented Leporello's aria "Madamina, il catalogo è questo" from the opera Don Giovanni (W. A. Mozart) and Baculus' aria "Fünftausend Taler" from Lortzing's opera Der Wildschütz.


05/24 Dante - From Inferno To Paradise
Alexander Rampp was hired by the Hof Theater for the new production DANTE - FROM INFERNO TO PARADISE. He will sing the role of the Angel of Chastity. It will be the last directing work of the artistic director Reinhardt Friese. The libretto was written by the new artistic director Lothar Krause together with the composer Patrick Cassidy. Patrick Cassidy is an employee of Hans Zimmer. Ivo Hentschel will be conducting. The performances will take place in May and June.

04/24 Richard Wagner scholarship holder
As a scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association Munich, Alexander Rampp will perform on June 2nd at the Künstlerhaus am Lenbachplatz, Munich.
